The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost to Tiffin, 16-2.  Gabrielle Di Fusco and Caroline Finnen each scored for the Spartans.

Tiffin controlled the opening minutes of action scoring the first three goals, two from Gina Abulone.  Di Fusco put the Spartans on the scoreboard at the 25:23 mark off a free position shot.  The home team added five more goals to end the half ahead 8-1.

The second half was not much different with Tiffin outscoring the Spartans, 8-1.  Finnen's goal came off an assist from Emily Glennon at the 18:21 mark.  

Laura Delorenzo had 6 saves for the Spartans.  Tiffin had 24 shots to the Spartans 7.  STAC will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Philadelphia University for a 4:30 p.m. game.
