The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost at Roberts Wesleyan 15-7, on Saturday afternoon. Danielle Cajou, Kaitlyn Gutenberger and Caitlin Verber each scored two goals for the Spartans.

Cajou scored the first goal of the game for the Spartans but the Redhawks dominated the first half 10-2.  Verber added the Spartans other goal for the half.  The Spartan attack battled in the second half matching the home team with five goals each.  Gabrielle Di Fusco scored for the Spartans and Emily Glennon added an assist.  

Taylor Nathan scored seven goals and added an assist for the Redhawks. Roberts Wesleyan held a slight 28-26 shots advantage over the Spartans.  Laura Delorenzo recorded five saves in the loss for the Spartans.  

With the loss STAC is now 3-4 while the Redhawks move to 6-3.  The Spartans will return to action next Saturday when they travel to Molloy College for a noon game.
