Kaitlyn Gutenberger of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team was named the ECC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 2-0 start to the 2020 season, with wins over Holy Family University (19-15) and the College of Saint Rose (13-8).
Gutenberger scored 13 goals and added 3 assists for the Spartans. Kaitlyn also won eight draw controls to go along with three ground balls. The red-shirt junior midfielder from Stony Point, NY recorded seven goals and an assist on the road at the Tigers, and then followed that up by scoring six goals and picking up two assists at home against the Golden Knights
St. Thomas Aquinas (2-0) takes on Post University (CT) on Tuesday, February 25th at Spartan Field, with the opening draw set for 3pm.
