Jennifer Farrell of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team was named the ECC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 1-1 week on the field, defeating Caldwell University 23-12 at Spartan Field, before falling to Saint Anselm College 19-9 on the team's Spring Break trip in Davenport, Florida.
Farrell scored 9 goals and added 5 assists for the Spartans. She also picked up two ground balls. The graduate student midfielder from Valley Cottage, NY recorded seven goals and three assists at home versus the Cougars, and then followed that up by scoring two goals and picking up two assists in Florida against the Hawks.
St. Thomas Aquinas (4-2) returns to NY to take on Chestnut Hill College on Thursday, March 12th at Victory Field #1 in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. Opening draw set for 12:30pm.
