Women's Tennis Downs West Chester, 6-1

West Chester, Pa. – The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Tennis team ran their unbeaten streak to nine matches, downing West Chester University of Pennsylvania 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Spartans claimed the doubles point with the tandem of Viktoriia Pavlovets/Ayesha Burnett winning 6-0 in No. 3 doubles. On the first court, Karina Blas and Vera Gak Anagrova won their matchup 6-1.
 
Elita Silins was the first winner in singles, claiming the match in two sets; 6-1, 6-1. Viktoriia Pavlovets next won at No. 2 singles by the score of 6-2, 6-2 to give STAC the 3-0 advantage. The Spartans picked up a win at No. 1 singles, as Karina Blas picked up a 6-4, 6-1 victory to clinch the match. Giovanna Jallas (6-3, 6-2) and Vera Gak Anagrova (6-3, 6-3) also earned wins for St. Thomas Aquinas.
