Altamonte Springs, Fla. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Tennis team's phenomenal 2023-2024 Season, came to a conclusion on Monday morning, as the #16 seeded Spartans fell to the #1 seed Barry University, 4-0, in the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 round at Sanlando Park.
STAC ends their campaign with an 16-7 overall record and a 4-1 mark in the East Coast Conference. Meanwhile, Barry University improves to 21-4 and moves on to the Elite Eight round of the tournament.
The Spartans outstanding season included its second straight ECC Tournament title, along with back to-back East Regional victories and NCAA Round of 16 National Championship appearances.
