Spartan Recruit Report: Women's Triathlon Welcomes Louisiana Native to 2020-21 Roster

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Triathlon team welcomes recruit Phoebe Hemmerling to the Spartan Family beginning this fall. STAC is coming off another spectacular year, which saw the squad return to the NCAA/USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships for the second consecutive season. The Spartans graduated two incredibly talented seniors; Tyiana Nunez and Jennyfer Huerta this past May.

"Going into our third year as an NCAA program, we continue to 'Make Success A Habit', as qualifying and competing at the National Championships is far from luck. A goal that we strive for every year, it is no surprise it comes from our team’s core of valuable strengths whether it be swimming, biking, running or a combination of all three. As we continue to excel in the emerging sport of Women’s Triathlon, our new recruit will bring strength to our program and help returners become stronger in the water", commented Head Coach Anthony Muscarello.

Here is a look at the future STAC Class of 2024.
