The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Triathlon team were in action on Sunday at the First Annual Rockaway Beach Triathlon in Rockaway Beach, NY.

Exemplary personal performances were seen, yet again, across the board by the Spartans. Junior Mary Dristle finished third in her age group in time of 1:09.30 and fourth overall, setting a personal best run of 22:21. Behind Dristle were sophmores Sylvie Bischof and Kristie Hanlon, both coming out of the water together at 8:33 and 8:39 respectively, and finishing the race in their age division in the seventh and eighth positions. Dristle, Bischof and Hanlon placed in top 10 for STAC on the day.

The STAC Women's Triathlon squad is back in action on Sunday, September 29th at the Treasure Island Sprint Triathlon in Point Pleasant, NJ.
