STAC Women's Triathlon Earns 2020 CTCA/USA Triathlon Team Scholar All-American Award

STAC Women's Triathlon Earns 2020 CTCA/USA Triathlon Team Scholar All-American Award

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Triathlon team was recently honored by the College Triathlon Coaches Association and USA Triathlon for their work in the classroom, with the 2020 Team Scholar All-American Award.

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which changed the traditional on-campus learning experience into a hybrid mix of both in-person and virtual instruction, Spartan Triathletes were able to persevere through unprecedented times and maintain academic success by posting a cumulative team grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the Fall 2020 semester.

The CTCA and USA Triathlon have also announced that individual student-athletes who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher will be recognized with Scholar All-American honors at the completion of the 2021 Spring Semester.

Congratulations to all of our Spartan Triathletes on a job well done.
