The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Triathlon team was in action on Sunday afternoon at the DQ Treasure Island Sprint Triathlon on Point Pleasant, NJ.

Exemplary personal performances were seen across the board, as freshman Hanna Jung (Siegen, Germany) led the way for the Spartans, finishing third among all female competitors and first within her age group in a time of 1:09.32. 

Meanwhile, teammate Phoebe Hemmerling (So./Baton Rouge, La.) took home a second place finish in her age group, crossing the finish line at 1:16.49 and Sylvie Bischof (Sr./Melbourne, Australia) scored a third place finish in her age group with a time of 1:22.42.

The STAC Women's Triathlon squad will next be in action on Saturday, October 16 at the Women's Collegiate Triathlon East Regional Qualifier in Huddleston, Va.
