On Thursday, the East Coast Conference released its 2023 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Awards. St. Thomas Aquinas College right-side hitter Jaizahir Marrero-George was recognized with an honorable mention by the league.

Marrero-George (Jr.|Carolina, Puerto Rico) led the Spartans in their inauguaral NCAA Division II campaign with 298 kills (4.38 kill per set), seven solo blocks and 34 block assists. She also recorded 17 service aces and 134 digs, while playing in all 20 matches and all 68 sets contested.

St. Thomas Aquinas posted a record of 5-15 (1-11 ECC) during the 2023 season.
