Freshman Joseph Chegwidden was named ECC Cross Country Rookie of the Week for his performance at the Paul Short Invitational.  Chegwidden was the first Spartan to finish the 8K course in 27:41.  This is the second consecutive week that Chegwidden has been the first Spartan to cross the finish line.  Last weekend at the Spartan Alumni Run, Chegwidden broke the STAC 5K course record at Tallman State Park with a time of 16:39.
