Spartan Cross Country Ranked 7th

The St. Thomas Aquinas Women's Cross Country team was ranked 7th in the East region by the USTFCCCA.  The team has appeared in the ranking every week this season.  The team is led by sophomore Kristen Borriello and redshirt junior Meaghan Ventarola who have traded off the top spot throughout the season.

This ranking follows a 2nd place team finish at the Jack St. Clair Memorial where the women’s team finished in 2nd behind the strong efforts of Borriello.  Borriello, who was the 2nd collegiate finisher, covered the 6K course in 24:25. She was named the East Coast Conference Runner of the Week for her performance.  Ventarola also ran a strong race finishing in 9th place.

The St. Thomas Aquinas team will return to action at the East Coast Conference Championships on October 24th.
