The St. Thomas Aquinas College women's cross country team has been ranked 5th in the East Region by the USTFCCCA. The team has been ranked in every week of the poll this season, dropping one spot after an idle week from competition.
The women's team has finished in 2nd in the Fordham Fiasco and 1st in the LIU Post Invitational. This past week, they took a step away from collegiate competition to host the Spartan Alumni 5K Run. Kristen Borriello and Meaghan Ventarola were the first two female finishers in in the annual co-ed race. They covered the 5K course in 19:25.
The team will compete this week at the NJIT Highlander Cross Country Challenge.
