The St. Thomas Aquinas Women's Cross Country Team held their spot at #5 in the USTFCCCA East Region Rankings. The Spartans have won their last two races with a strong team effort. Redshirt junior Meaghan Ventarola set the STAC 5K school record on Saturday at the NJIT Technology XC Challenge. Ventarola set the new mark of 18:28 while earning a 4th place finish. Sophomore teammate Kristen Borrielo clocked in next at 18:40. Senior Gabriela Sloezen ran a personal best of 18:54.
