Abagaile Kimbrell has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Tuesday, for the fourth time in the last five weeks of the 2019 fall season, following the Spartans outstanding performance at the St. Joseph's College Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday in Bethpage, NY.

Kimbrell finished first overall with a time of 18:12.2 to help lead her team to a 1st place finish. The junior from Monroe, NY averaged a 5:51.5 mile in the race this past weekend.

The Spartans will now begin preparations for the East Coast Conference Cross Country Championships, which take place on Saturday, October 26th at New York Institute of Technology. Events begin at 10am in Old Westbury, NY.
