Abagaile Kimbrell has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday, for the third time this season, following the Spartans impressive performance at the NJIT Highlander Challenge on Saturday. Kimbrell finished fifth overall with a time of 18:16.8 to help lead her team to a 5th place finish (2nd DII/DIII). The junior from Monroe, NY averaged a 5:53.0 mile in the race this past weekend.

The Spartans will next compete at the St. Joseph's College Golden Eagle Invitational at Bethpage State Park on Saturday, October 12th. Events are scheduled to begin at 12pm in Bethpage, NY.
