Abagaile Kimbrell has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans season opening race at the Fordham Fiasco/Ed Joyce Memorial on Saturday. Kimbrell finished first among DII runners (20th overall) with a time of 20:00.4 to lead her team. The junior from Monroe, NY averaged a 6:26.3 mile in the race this past weekend.

The Spartans will next compete at the New York Institute of Technolgy Invitational in Old Westbury, NY. The men's 8K meet will begin at 10 am, with the women's 5K event slated to begin at 11 am
