STAC Women's Cross Country Retains Top Ten Status in Latest USTFCCCA East Region Poll

On Tuesday, the United States Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association released it's latest cross country regional polls. The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Cross Country team retains its top ten status at the #10 position in the East Region.

In the Spartans last race, the Adelphi University Short-Course Showdown, STAC placed third overall. Skylar Moreno was the top STAC finisher on the day with a time of 19:59.4, taking 16th overall in the women's 5K race. Following Moreno in order of finish were: Lesly Marcin (19:59.5), Gabriella Mott (20:22.9), Madison Roth (20:45.4), Ciara Durcan (20:48.9), Sophia Echeverria (22:11.9), Samantha Frisbee (22:39.4), Nicole Gysin (23:29.9), Ciara Doyle (26:26.0) and Adrian Schepis (30:01.6).

Next up for St. Thomas Aquinas, the East Coast Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 4 (10:00 a.m.) at Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, N.Y.
