STAC Women's Cross Country Maintains Top Ten Status in Latest USTFCCCA East Region Poll

On Tuesday, the United States Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association released it's latest cross country regional polls. The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Cross Country team remained in the top ten in the East Region at the #10 position.

In the Spartans last race, the East Coast Conference Championships, STAC took a third place finish. Skylar Moreno was the top finisher on the day for the with a time of 19:30.3 (7th place). Following Moreno in order of finish were: Lesly Marcin (19:46.5), Ciara Durcan (20:25.6), Gabriella Mott (20:57.0), Madison Roth (21:06.2), Samantha Frisbee (22:07.0), Sofia Echeverria (23:01.7), Nicole Gysin (23:37.5), Ciara Doyle (26:26.8) and Adrian Schepis (30:49.4).

St. Thomas Aquinas will next compete at the NCAA Division II East Regional Cross Country Championships, which will also be hosted by Adelphi University on November 19 at Bethpage Polo at the Park in Farmingdale, N.Y.
