STAC Women's Cross Country Holds #7 Position in Latest USTFCCCA East Region Poll

On Tuesday, the United States Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association released it's latest cross country regional polls. The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Cross Country team continues to hold the #7 position in the East Region.

In the Spartans last race, the Bard College/Fred Pavlich Invitational, STAC took it's second consecutive team victory. Skylar Moreno was the top finisher on the day with a time of 20:51.1, taking victory in the women's 5K race and setting a new course record. Following Moreno in order of finish were: Lesly Marcin (21:18.1/3rd place), Ciara Durcan (21:23.9/4th place), Madison Roth (22:25.8/6th place), Gabriella Mott (23:00.6/8th place), Sophia Echeverria (23:06.4/9th place), Samantha Frisbee (24:11.8/10th place), Nicole Gysin (24:46.0) and Ciara Doyle (28:50.3).

Next up for St. Thomas Aquinas, the St. Joseph's University Golden Eagle Invitational on Friday, September 30 at Bethpage State Park in Farmindale, N.Y.
