Spartans Volunteer at Fall Festival

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Baseball and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams teamed up with the Rockland County Historical Society at the 2012 Fall Festival.  The athletes helped out with face painting, games and even some traffic control.

The Fall Family Festival took place on the grounds of the Historical Society of Rockland County,  Sunday, October 14th from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. It consisted of demonstrations of quilting, candle making, wool carding and others. Children decorated pumpkins, writing with a quill pen, and created clothespin dolls. The fall festival gave people the  opportunity to step inside the historic 1832 Jacob Blauvelt farmhouse and learn about life in 19th century Rockland County.
