The St. Thomas Aquinas College basketball program teamed up with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) to collect donations for Toys for Tots. Each year the two organizations join forces to try to enhance the holiday season of children in need. Donations were collected at two home basketball contests as well as on campus throughout themonth of December. All donations were given to the Rockland Country Marine Corp League. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
