Ryan served as Acting Athletic Director following the retirement of Gerry Oswald this past summer.

(SPARKILL, NY –July 23, 2019)— St. Thomas Aquinas College Director of Athletics Gerald Oswald will retire effective August 31, 2019.  His announcement will close out a trailblazing career of more than 45 years in college athletics, including the last 19 at St. Thomas Aquinas College.  

On Thursday evening the ghouls, ghosts and goblins visited the St. Thomas Aquinas College Department of Athletics for some tricks and treats, as the STAC Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted its first ever Halloween Party for their fellow athletes.

On Thursday, members of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee rolled up their sleeves and gave the college patio a complete makeover.

Tobin Anderson, the third year coach of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team, traveled to Washington D.C. this weekend to speak at the highly regarded Wootten Basketball Camp.

Lorne Marcus, Head Track & Field Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, was named to the NCAA Division II Track & Field and Cross Country Committee earlier this week.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Athletic Department was honored for their strong efforts in community service in last nights East Coast Conference 1st Annual Awards Dinner. STAC received the ECC Community Cup which went to the Conference Institution that dedicated the highest hours to community service.

Central Islip, NY – The East Coast Conference has announced the Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2007-2008 academic year. A total of 599 student-athletes made this years squad with representation from all eleven member institutions. Sixty two STAC student athletes were recognized.

The STAC Women's Softball Team finished the 2007-2008 season with a seven game winning steak. They tied 6th in the ECC but lost the tie-breaker that would set them into post season play. Two seniors and one freshman received post season honors.
