The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team beat Bridgeport 3-0 in Wednesday afternoon's ECC game.  Matt Smith hit a 2-RBI single in the fifth to put STAC ahead 3-0.  Sean Marsiglia picked up the win for STAC going five scoreless innings with 2 strike outs.  Mark Fochesato picked up his fifth save for the Spartans. 

Frank Salerno had an RBI bunt in the second inning to put the Spartans on the scoreboard.  Salerno scored David Schwartz who lead off with a single.  In the fifth Salerno lead off with a walk along with Kevin Ryan and both players scored off Smith's single.

The Spartans will host Bridgeport on Thursday at the Vet at 3:00 PM.
