The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost to Mercy College in today's ECC tournament.  Mike Apreda and Dan McDermott each had a hit for STAC.  McDermott singled in the 3rd and Apreda singled in the 6th.

Mercy jumped out to a 5-0 lead as they scored all of their runs in the bottom of the 1st.  Graig Lauricella walked with the bases loaded to score the Maverick's first run.  Justin Marcarella hit a bases loaded triple and Andrew Bock hit an RBI sac-fly to score the fifth run.

The Spartans finished the season 23-27.
