The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost to Dominican, 3-1 in today's non-conference game.  Fred Moore went 2-for-3 with an RBI as STAC jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd.

Dominican tied the game in the bottom of the 5th as Marco Moreno hit a single with runners on the corners.  The Spartans stranded three in the sixth and one in the seventh to stay even with the Chargers.  Bonilla scored on an error and Tommy Maloney hit an RBI single up the right side to lift Dominican over the Spartans.

Matt Marotta pitched 5 scoreless innings for STAC.  Kevin Ryan, Matt Smith and David Schwartz each had hit for the Spartans.  STAC will host Dowling College tomorrow at Rockland Community College at 6:30 PM.
