The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost to Molloy College, 4-1.  Joe Antenucci went 2-for-5 for STAC while Nick D'Angelo went 2-for-4.  Fred Moore hit a RBI sac fly to score Mike Apreda who was hit by a pitch.

The Lions got off to a strong start opening a 3-0 lead in the first inning.  Molloy added one run in the 2nd inning to take a 4-0 lead.  STAC scored their run in the 4th but neither team scored for the remainder of the game.  Chris Schoepe and Tom Enright each pitched two scoreless innings for the Spartans.  Chuck Fontana pitched 6 innings for Molloy giving up 1 run and striking out 7 batters for the win.

The Spartans will begin their five game series with C.W. Post on Friday.  STAC will play a single game Friday at Dutchess County Stadium and return their on Saturday for a double header.
