The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team beat Molloy College, 4-1 in today's ECC post season game.  Frank Salerno scored the Spartans first run in the 1st inning.  Vin Malzahn and Christian Santo each added a RBI.  Mark Fochesato went 9 innings yielding 1 run and striking out 5 batters.

Salerno reached on an error and advanced to second.  The sophomore stole third and came around to score the Spartans first run on a fielding error.  STAC added two more runs in the 3rd as Mike Walraven led off with a walk.  Joe Antenucci doubled moving Walraven into scoring position.   Malzahn grounded out, scoring Walraven as Antenucci advanced to third.  Antenucci came around to score on another fielding error by the Lions. 

Santo added a RBI single in the 9th to score Malzahn.  Fochesato picked up his 4th win of the season going the distance for the Spartans.  STAC will face Dowling College tomorrow afternoon at 12:00.
