The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team beat Caldwell, 10-0.  Robert Frank pitched 5 shutout innings for the win.  Nick Barbalato went 2-for-3 with 2 runs and an RBI.  Fred Moore added a 2 RBI single while Mike Apreda had a 2 RBI double.

The Spartans opened the game with a 6-run 1st inning including Moore's single to score Matt Smith and Andrew Ahn.  Apreda's double scored Mike Walraven and Moore.  STAC added 4 more runs in the 3rd inning highlighted by RBI singles from Barbalato and Ahn.  Kevin Ryan, Tom Enright and Daniel Diaz each pitched scoreless innings in relief for the Spartans.

STAC will return to action on Friday when they travel to Pace.
