The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team beat Concordia College, 14-4. Frank Salerno went 2-for-6, with 2 runs and 3 RBI. Andrew Ahn and Mike Apreda each had a pair of hits with Apreda going 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI.
The Spartans used a strong 4th inning, highlighted by a 2 RBI single from Andrew Hanscak to take a 5-0 lead over Concordia. STAC went on to add a run in the 6th and 7th before putting the Clippers away for good with a 7 run 8th inning charge. In the 8th Kevin Ryan drew a bases loaded walk to score a run for STAC. Apreda along with nick D'Angelo added a pair of RBI singles and Ahn had a double to score a run for STAC.
STAC will return to action on Thursday when they face Caldwell for a 3:30 p.m. game.
