The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost at Dowling, 4-3 this afternoon.  Andrew Ahn, Fred Moore and Andrew Hancsak went 2-for-4 for the Spartans.  Ahn and Hancsak each added a RBI for STAC who scored all of their runs in the 6th inning.

In the 6th, Nick Barbalato led off with a single.  Ahn scored Barbalato with his RBI triple.  Vin Malzahn singled to right field to score Ahn and later came around to score on an RBI double by Hancsak.  The Spartans held a 3-2 lead after the inning but Dowling was able to score two more runs in the bottom of the 8th to secure the victory.  Robert Frank went 7 innings giving up 4 hits and 2 runs while striking out 4 batters. 

STAC will host Dowling on Friday at Dutchess County Stadium at 4:00 p.m.
