The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost  to Molloy, 11-5.  Vin Malzahn went 2-for-3 with 2 runs and a RBI while Fred Moore was 2-for-5 with 3 RBI including a 2-run homerun.  Mike Walraven and Frank Salerno had 3 and 2 hits respectively for the Spartans.

The Lions got off to a strong 1st inning driving in 3 runs.  Malzahn hit an RBI single in the bottom of the inning to score Salerno who led off with a single.  Molloy added two more runs before STAC would score again in the 3rd off an RBI double from Moore.  Moore added a 2-run homer in the 5th to bring STAC within six, 10-4.  Each team went on to add one more run.

The Spartans will travel to Molloy on Thursday for a 3:30 game.
