The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost to Molloy College, 6-5.  Mike Walraven and George Wargo each went 2-for-3 for STAC.  Walraven added two RBI while Wargo had a run.  Andrew Ahn, Mike Apreda, Vin Malzahn and Fred Moore each had 2 hits for the Spartans. 

The Spartans had a strong 5th inning, scoring three runs, highlighted by a RBI single from Walraven. However, the Lions used a 5-run 6th inning to take a 6-4 lead the Spartans could not overcome.  STAC added another run in the 7th, off a RBI double by Vin Malzahn, scoring Nick Barbalato. 

STAC will play a double header at Molloy on Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m.
