Matt Kostalos, a STAC Alum and former member of the Spartan Baseball Team (2014-2016) was signed on Saturday by the Rockland Boulders of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball (Can-Am League).

The Boulders were searching for an additional arm that could be an immediate contributor and a steady presence on the mound and Kostalos, a Staten Island, NY native, was asked to fill that role beginning Saturday at Palisades Credit Union Park, a place that Matt is very familiar with.

Matty K took the hill against league foe Quebec in a relief appearance, going 2/3 of an inning, while giving up no hits, walking one batter and striking out another in Saturday's Pink in the Park themed contest. Among the 5,469 fans in attendance were Matt's family and friends to see his Boulders debut.
