
Pleasantville, N.Y. - Playing its seventeenth straight contest away from Clover Stadium to open the season, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Baseball team dropped a 7-2 decision to Pace University on Wednesday afternoon at Peter X. Finnerty Field in Westchester County.
STAC falls to 3-14 on the season, losing their fifth in a row. Meanwhile, Pace moves back to the .500 mark at 8-8.

- Ryan Hillery recorded a double in four at-bats, while driving in two runs.
- The Spartans also saw hits from Kyle DeCresce (1-3, Walk), Joseph Scamardella (1-4) and David Potenza (1-3, Run)
- Jake Halloran got the start for the Spartans was charged with a run on no hits, while walking three and striking out one in 1.2 innings of work. Halloran was charged with the loss and falls to 0-1 on the year.
- Jeremiah Vega, Robert Williams, Eliahs Delgado, Ricardo Gonzalez, Lorent Hoti and Nickolas Berasti each saw time out of the bullpen for the maroon and gold. They combined to allow six runs on four hits, with five walks over 6.1 innings pitched.
