
Cary, N.C. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Baseball team closed its four-day North Carolina road trip with convincing 9-1 victory over Adelphi University on Sunday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.
STAC moves to 3-9 on the year, while Adelphi slips to 6-5.

- Tom O'Neill and Jeremiah Vega each saw time out of the bullpen for the maroon and gold. The duo combined to allow one run (none earned) on seven hits, with two walks and six Ks over eight innings. O'Neill earned his first win of the season (1-2) on the strength of five innings of five-hit ball, allowing only an unearned run with four strikeouts. Vega picked up his first save of the campaign, giving up just two hits and two walks, while also fanning two Panthers hitters over three innings.
