Six Spartans Earn NFF Hampshire Honor Society Distinction

Elijah Jean, Andrew Levi, Elionexis Lopez, Kyle Marsha, JT Perry and Seif Samy of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Sprint Football team have been selected to the 2024 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. The Spartan Student-Athletes were among 54 players from eight Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) member institutions selected for the prestigious honor, in the fourth season that sprint football players have been recognized for the award.

This honorable academic distinction was bestowed upon 1,989 players from 339 schools that qualified for membership in the society's 18th year.

Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be either:

  • A senior player, who will graduate this spring/summer, and just completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2023; or
  • A graduated player, who has been out of high school at least (3) years;

And must have:

  • Attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 (4.0 scale); and
  • Been starters or contributors throughout the 2023 season.
