The St. Thomas Aquinas Field Hockey team lost at LIU Post, 7-0 on Monday afternoon. Kaitlyn Gee had nine saves in relief of starter Suzanne Clarke for STAC.

The Pioneers had a 19-10 shots advantage, while the Spartans held a 14-8 edge on penalty corners.  Briannah Thorne had five shot attempts with four of those going on goal for the Spartans. LIU Post had five different goal scorers; Emily Miller (2), Emma Braeckmans (2), Tarry Morris, Molly Cunha and Sammy Bell.

The Spartans will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Bentley College for a 6pm contest.
