
Millersville, Pa. – The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Field Hockey team fell to Millersville University, 7-0, in a Saturday afternoon road non-conference matchup at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium in Millersville.
The Spartans (0-2) and the Maurauders (1-0) combined for 29 shots in the contest, but it was Millersville coming away with the home victory.
Millersville goalkeeper, Kerstin Koons (W, 1-0), was able to keep STAC off the scoreboard by turning away all three of the Spartans' shots placed on goal. Spartan keeper Jessie Hohenstein (L, 0-2) stopped 14 Maurauder shots on the day.
