Manahawkin, N.J. - On Monday, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its annual Division II Scholars of Distinction for 2023. St. Thomas Aquinas College's Kendra Evans was honored with the distinguished designation, as a result of her exceptional work inside of the classroom.

Evans (Canastota, N.Y.), a Psychology major, while also minoring in Art Therapy and History qualified for the prestigious honor by demonstrating exceptional prowess, maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year.

A noteworthy total of 121 undergraduate student-athletes have attained the status of NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction.
