St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Field Hockey players Nicola Van Vuuren and Madelief Heijmans were each selected for All-Conference honors on Wednesday, as the Northeast-10 Conference revealed its annual awards, voted on by the conference's coaches. Van Vuuren earned Second Team accolades, while Heijmans took home All-Freshman Team kudos.

Van Vuuren (Sr.|Pretoria Gauteng, South Africa) recorded a team-leading 9 goals and 5 assists, for 23 points, while playing in all 18 contests for STAC. Her 69 total shots (45 on goal) and two game-winning goals were also tops for the Spartans. She also added a defensive save to her totals.

Heijmans (Fr.|Oisterwijk, Netherlands) racked up 8 goals and 2 assists for 18 points, while suiting up for all 18 Spartans matches. She also accumulated 42 shots (34 on goal) and a game winning goal. Madelief was recognized for her outstanding playing during the regular season with NE10 Rookie of the Week awards on September 9 and October 14.

St. Thomas Aquinas posted a record of 4-14 (3-10 NE10) during the 2024 season.
