East Stroudburg, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Field Hockey team hit the road on Tuesday afternoon, visiting #3 ranked East Stroudsburg University at Whitenight Field. The host Warriors would net six second half goals en route to 10-2 victory over the Spartans.

STAC slips to 1-4 on the year, while ESU improves to 4-1.

Jady van Gils recorded at hat trick for ESU, while teammate Minke Klijn tallied a pair of goals. Bella Viruet, Allyson Forman, Kerry Kaufman, Logan Oswald and Roos Bijman also added to the Warriors totals on the scoreboard with a goal each. Meanwhile, Nicola Van Vuuren and Phileine Langeveld netted a goal apiece for St. Thomas Aquinas.

In the cage, Jet Vermeulen (W, 4-1) got the start for the Warriors and allowed two goals on three shots in 30 minutes of action, before being both Sydney Pope (24:14) and Saar van Berckel (5:46), did not face a shot in their combined 30 minutes of play. Madeline Schaefer (L, 1-2) start in net for the Spartans and made 5 stops on 9 shots, before being spelled by Ailsa Ogilvie, who made 8 saves on 14 shots.
