St. Thomas Aquinas head golf coach Stephen Ferrara was named the Eaton Golf Pride Division II East Regional Coach of the Year which was announced by the GCAA.  Junior Chris Fitzpatrick was a Division II PING All-Region selection for the second year in a row.

Fitzpatrick won three consecutive tournaments during the regular season and was regionally ranked throughout the season.  The junior shot a three day team low, 231, including a final round of even par (72) in the NCAA Championships.  Head Caoch Ferrara picked up his 300th career head-to-head Division II victory this season.  

The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team completed one of their most successful seasons this year with a Division II head-to-head record of 40-5-1 including three tournament victories, one 2nd place finish and one third place finish.  They finished third in the NCAA Super Regionals to advance to the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row.  STAC finished 18th out of 20 in the Championships.
