The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished the NCAA Regionals in 3rd place advancing them to the NCAA Division II Championships. STAC put together their lowest team score of the event, shooting 294 for the day to help them advance to the Championships for the second year in a row.
John Casey, Mike Gunderson and Nick Delango each shot a 73 for the day. Chris Fitzpatrick shot a 75 and Sean Campbell shot a 78. Fitzpatrick finished tied for 8th overall with a three day total of 226. STAC will advance to the finals May 18-21 at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind.
