The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team shot a season low team score of 288 (even par) in today's opening round of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spring Invitational in Rum Pointe Golf Course in Berlin, MD.

Junior Chris Fitzpatrick continued his strong playing shooting his second consecutive round of 3-under par for 69. Senior Sean Cambell played a solid round of even par golf (72) while junior Mike Gunderson also carded a stellar 72.  Rounding out the scoring were sophomore John Casey and freshman Nick Delango who both shot rounds of 3-over 75.

The Spartans find themselves in second place behind Wilmington University who shot a brilliant round of 5-under par (283) as a team.
