The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished 11th with a team score of 303 in the NCAA Division II Preview Tournament being held at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals Fighting Joe Course in Alabama. Mike Gunderson shot a team low 73 for 20th place.
Senior Chris Fitzpatrick carded a 75 tying him for 39th place. John Casey and Thomas Linehan rounded of the scorers with 77 and 78 respectively. The Preview Tournament is an invitation tournament for the top 25 ranked teams in the NCAA Division II Pre-Season Poll. The Spartans will play round two on Tuesday.
