The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team continued their strong play at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional, finishing with a 2-day team score of 315. Thomas Linehan shot a 76 on day two, leading the Spartans and finished the day tied for second. Mike Gunderson and John Casey posted a 78 and 79 in their second rounds. Nick Delango rounded out the scores with an 82.
Play was stopped for three hours in the middle of round two due to heavy rain. STAC did not finish round two until early Wednesday morning. The Spartans will head into round three currently tied for third and right in the mix. The top 5 teams will advance to the NCAA Championship.
