St. Thomas Aquinas golfer Niklas Koerner shot a 73 in his second round at  the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf and Spa in Conover, North Carolina.  Koerner eagled the 18th hole to shoot 1-under on the back nine and put him at two over for the day and tied for 40th place. 

Koerner had four birdies and one eagle for his second round shooting 73 for the second day in a row.  The senior will tee off for round three at 9:09 am on Wednesday morning.  The University of South Carolina Aiken is currently leading the tournament with a team score of 1-under after the frist two rounds.  St. Leo's Ryan Gendron is the current leader following rounds of 70, 67 for 5-under.
