The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished in 2nd Place in the Brown Golf Invitational held at the Fox Fire Resort and Golf Course in Jackson Springs, NC. Shkelqim Kukaj earned the first place medal, finishing with a two day total of 140 (70, 70) for a 4-under tournament. The Spartans took second place behind Wayne State University.
Wayne State University finished with a two day team score of 588 while the Spartans finished at 595. Travis Fay was the 2nd low scorer for the Spartans finishing tied for 7th place in the field with rounds of 76, 75. Jake Yarmolowitz and Joseph Tammaro scored first round 72 and 73 respectively while Tom Holmes posted a seconf round 76 for the Spartans.
STAC will play in the Dominican College Charger Challenge at Ocean City Golf Club in Ocean City, MD next weekend.
